One. Go read Cousin Aubry's blog post about my artwork and my Etsy shop.
She did a great job of writing about the piece she got (it's one of my favorites, btw). I really love selling my work on Etsy, just to get it seen, and to get into homes that will love it. And--bonus--there is a DISCOUNT CODE, y'all! So if you were thinking of getting a piece before, now is the perfect time. Before someone else gets it.
Two. I found this sweet, sweet gem today. I thought I had lost it, but what was once lost is now found. It deserves some back story, so here goes. Once upon a time, in the prime of my life, I lived with my two cousins and my sister in an apartment complex known as Liberty Square. The joys of living together with your family/best friends knows no bounds. Our ward announced a talent show. Being a [mostly] un-talented bunch, we decided to instead resort to clever tricks: the upside-down mouth thingy.
So, there you have it. It's a video of us trying to tell the story of Alma the Younger. A couple of things you should notice (if you make it through the whole video...because I don't think anyone but Han, Steph, Missy, or I would really be interested in watching the whole thing): Stephanie was SUPER grouchy. We woke her up from a nap. And Hana's extreme case of ADD. And how many times she says the phrase, "Spit and lick." Also, it's like 10 minutes long. So I really don't blame you if you don't watch the whole thing...I mostly put it up for the girls.
Sadly, that video did not make the cut. Here's the one we ended up using for the talent show. It's same idea, different story...just me and Missy. I'll let you guess who is who...turns out our chins are nearly identical.
Three. Tim and I had the most fabulous conference Sunday together. And we took a gorgeous walk in a gorgeous park (Percy Warner) and later on I will blog about that too.
That is all.
(go buy my art.)
