Amazing photo taken by our good friend, Nick Adams. Isn't it a phenomenal shot? |
Tim's little brother Andrew is flying to Nashville as we speak. He's been MIA in the Dominican Republic serving a mission, and it's been over two years since we've seen him last.
Needless to say, we're excited, so we're planning on a fun week filled with fun things back in our old stomping grounds. We have so much more to explore in Nashville, but we'll be hitting up a few of our favorite Nashvillian things:
Eat breakfast at The Pancake Pantry for the BEST PANCAKES IN THE ENTIRE WORLD LIKE SERIOUSLYYY.
Get in the stand-by line for Bluebird Cafe to hear some emerging songwriters try out their new material. It's impossible to get tickets now that Nashville made it so popular. Grrrr. I mean, it's always been hard to get tickets, but now...IMPOSSIBLE.
Go to Percy Warner Park for a gorgeous view overlooking Nashville AND firefly watching at dusk, of course.
And we can't miss Radnor Lake, with its beautiful trees and plentiful deer and swans and looooooove.
Yes, it's very touristy, but Loveless Cafe is just so adorable, so we must go. We want to make sure he has a good southern meal with chicken and biscuits.
We'll walk around Vanderbilt's hundred year old campus and melt at all the adorable squirrels.
Check out the Parthenon at Centennial Park.
And, of course, there's the cute shops in Hillsboro Village...with the required stop to pick up some Sweet Cece's.
We'll also ride our bikes to Sevier Park and get some yummy Las Paletas popsicles. Hibiscus...tamarind...even avocado! My mouth is watering.
And what trip to Nashville would be complete without going downtown and strolling through the honky-tonks on Broadway? And maybe we'll stop by Mike's Ice Cream downtown too.
Don't YOU want to come visit us? We're here for at least anther year, if you want to come. Just sayin'.
And how about our list, Nashville? Anything else we're missing out on?
